Welcome to Unreeld. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Unreeld mobile application ("the app"). By creating an account or using Unreeld, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

## 1. Who We Are
Unreeld is an iOS app operated by Keaton Morehead, based in Utah, United States. Throughout these Terms, "Unreeld," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the app and its operators.

## 2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Unreeld. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

## 3. Your Account
To use Unreeld, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or email and password. When you create an account:
- You agree to provide accurate, current information.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at unreeldapp@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

## 4. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use
Unreeld is a community space for sharing real moments from your life. All users must follow our [Community Guidelines](https://www.unreeld.com/community-guidelines), which prohibit harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, illegal activity, spam, impersonation, and other abusive behavior.
In addition to the Community Guidelines, you agree not to use Unreeld to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other users.
- Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
- Post content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the app or other users' devices.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the app.
- Create accounts for any user other than yourself, or share your account with others.
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users.
- Use automated systems (bots, scripts, crawlers) to interact with the app.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion, without notice.

## 5. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.
- **Reporting:** You can report any post, comment, or profile you believe violates our Community Guidelines using the report feature in the app. We commit to reviewing every report within 24 hours.
- **Blocking:** You can block any other user at any time. Blocked users' posts and comments will not appear in your feed.
- **Enforcement:** When we determine content violates our Community Guidelines, we remove it. We may suspend or permanently ban users who violate the guidelines. Repeat violations or severe abuse result in immediate bans.
- **Appeals:** If you believe your account was suspended or content was removed in error, email us at unreeldapp@gmail.com.

## 6. Your Content
Unreeld lets you post text, photos, videos, comments, reactions, and other content ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content. However, by posting Your Content to Unreeld, you grant Unreeld a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the app to you and your chosen friends.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own Your Content or have the necessary rights to post it.
- Your Content does not violate any third party's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Your Content complies with these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
You can delete Your Content at any time from within the app. Deleted content is removed from our servers immediately.

## 7. AI-Generated Content
Unreeld uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate personalized insights, reflections, chat responses, and check-in questions. AI-generated content is provided for informational and reflective purposes only. It is not professional advice — not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or therapeutic advice. Do not rely on AI-generated content for decisions that should involve qualified professionals.
AI models can make mistakes. Unreeld is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content.

## 8. Intellectual Property
All elements of the Unreeld app — including but not limited to the name, logo, visual design, source code, and original content — are owned by Unreeld and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app without our express written permission.

## 9. Disclaimers
Unreeld is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be available at all times or free from errors.
- Bugs will be fixed within any specific timeframe.
- The app will meet your expectations or produce any specific outcomes in your phone usage, mental health, or personal habits.
- Data will never be lost due to technical failure, though we take reasonable steps to prevent this.
Unreeld is a tool to support intentional phone usage. It is not a substitute for professional help with mental health, addiction, or wellness concerns. If you are struggling, please consult a licensed professional.

## 10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unreeld and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, emotional distress, or any other intangible losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to these Terms or the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) $50 USD, or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unreeld and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your violation of these Terms.

- Your violation of any third party's rights.

## 12. Termination
You may stop using Unreeld and delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → menu → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers and cannot be undone.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or if we discontinue the app entirely.
Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

## 13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of Unreeld after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the app shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
